During the development of Shopping Malls, the Landlords or Owners have to plan on how to market the space and manage the building later on. Unlike shopping complexes or normal commercial buildings, a mall has to be managed 24/7. Typically, the Owners of Shopping Malls will be appointing SMAG to carry out the tasks. The Management Team role is important in marketing the space or leasing a vacant space, also in searching for the right potential tenant to be part of the tenant mix of the Shopping Malls, as well for operating and maintaining the Shopping Mall. We are responsible for setting up the management systems, recruiting and training the management teams for the Shopping Mall on behalf of the owner.

 

The roles of the Shopping Mall management team include a detailed development decision-making, managerial creativity and the art of management. Management functions such as planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling are treated as basic guides to effective management. Shopping Mall Management Teams include the General Manager, Mall Manager, Marketing and Public Relations Manager, Human Resources and Administration Manager, Operation Manager including security, cleaning and maintenance team. Information Technology Manager, Event Manager, Tenancy Manager, Customer Service Manager and so on. Management team in Shopping Mall may vary from one Shopping Mall to another.
