Beirut, October 4, 2017 – SIDCOM, a visionary Lebanese Developer, in collaboration with SMAG (SHOPPING MALL ADVISERY GROUP) the Retail Real Estate Development, Leasing and Management Consultancy firm, organized a media briefing session to officially introduce Centerfalls, the upcoming first and biggest Designer Outlet Mall in Lebanon. Attended by senior executives from SIDCOM, SMAG (SHOPPING MALL ADVISERY GROUP) CEO Rony Aoun and members of the press, the session highlighted the key attractions of Centerfalls which is set to redefine the concept of designer outlet shopping in Lebanon.

Located at the heart of the Metn Region in Mazraat Yachouh on a hill with spectacular views over the Bays of Jounieh, Dbayeh and Beirut, Centerfalls is projected to become a first world-class integrated shopping, leisure and tourism destination in Lebanon. In a unique setting, the project will host an exceptional mix of the highest quality of off-price luxury retail, a distinctive collection of restaurants and eateries along with dedicated areas for family entertainment, supermarket and personal services.

Centerfalls is the objective of Lebanese investors who have a strong belief in their country and plan to set a new benchmark for service excellence in Lebanon. The aim is to create the most thrilling experience yet, bringing stylish luxury brands, retail and more savings, mixing quality, design and price for a sustainable and stimulating destination that would put the customer at the heart of the project.

Set to open its doors in Autumn 2018, the integrated 57,000 sqm mall with leasing area of 20,000 sqm spread across 4 retail levels equipped with easy access to parking lots, Centerfalls will break new grounds in Lebanon creating a fusion of premium shopping combined with a fun, family friendly experience. The mall will house 140 units from the most prestigious local and international brands, casual dining and fast food chains and a couple of coffee shops, in addition to a large supermarket, banking and money services, bookstores, furniture, home appliances and electronics.

Centerfalls is an outstanding project. We highly believe it will be a remarkable addition that complements the retail offer in Lebanon as well as the region from both economic and touristic perspectives. The opportunities that will come with Centerfalls are enormous. This designer outlet mall has all the elements to be one of a kind, from the concept to the location, the architecture, the attractions and entertainment facilities,” said Rony Aoun, CEO of SMAG (SHOPPING MALL ADVISERY GROUP). “We are delighted to deploy our regional expertise in developing, leasing and managing malls to accomplish this project. It is undoubtedly, a great name in our portfolio and will be another success story” added Aoun.

The designer outlet mall will offer its visitors an unparalleled retreat similar to a luxurious holiday, rather than a simple shopping experience. The mall will host key attractions including: A Piazza, an outdoor village, a Skyvill, an exquisite rooftop with restaurants for the entire family, a dedicated area of 1500 sqm designed for Toddler Club & Family Entertainment. It is also anticipated to provide over 300 management job opportunities and 700 retail jobs.

The project will become the new landmark and commercial pulse of this up and coming district, tailored to the needs of the local community, the wider Beirut area and the tourists. Metn Region is one of the most sought-after areas on the outskirts of Beirut. The primary catchment area of the project gathers 750,000 inhabitants, while the wider Beirut metropolitan covers over 2 million inhabitants. Centerfalls is at proximity to the capital, only a 20-minute drive from Beirut Downtown.

Centerfalls will serve as a central reference point of the Metn area, both as a center of commerce and a social activity, and also through its distinctive architectural language, giving the district its own local identity. Centerfalls’ architecture, inspired from the surrounding landscape, reveals a vertically open and transparent layout inviting nature to enter the building. The architectural adaptation of Centerfalls is designed by Alain R. Stephan Architects.
